Education Assistance Awards are intended to assist students in meeting their college expenses. In order to apply, students must complete the Application for the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation.
The Education Assistance Awards Committee of the San Antonio Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (SAC-TAI) will select winners based on criteria outlined in the Application for the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation (TASF). The winners will each be awarded at least a $1,000.00 award during our local Education Assistance Awards Reception or Banquet (date TBD). In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to compete for a $1,500.00 TASF Scholarship, which will be awarded at this time as well.
Another opportunity for applicants through this same process is for the Victoria Elise McMillan Scholarship (amount to be determined). For this scholarship, the same application process applies with special emphases on the following: financial need, community service, extracurricular activities, female gender (preferred), and well-rounded character.
